Occidental Alicante Hotel, Alicante

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The room I was assigned faced the street, which was nice as it was away from outside noise. However, I could hear the water/toilet systems from other rooms in the morning, which was a bit bothersome for my light sleep. The room itself was small and slightly out-dated, but it served its purpose well. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very friendly and helpful. The location was central, making it convenient to access public transport and explore the city easily. The dining experience was satisfactory, especially for someone like me who is a vegetarian. The facilities were adequate for my needs during the stay.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice, despite the noisy street, with a comfortable double bed and good air conditioning, even though they looked a bit shabby. They were very clean and quiet overall. The service was truly excellent, the best thing about the hotel, with brilliant and very helpful staff who were friendly and always ready to assist. The location was convenient for accessing transportation and the shopping district, but the narrow and busy street was not so appealing. The dining experience was satisfactory with a good variety of options and fresh juice, fruit, cheeses, and more, although the service in the rooms was lacking. Facilities were decent overall.

I simply loved the hotel! The location was amazing, just a stone's throw away from the beach and surrounded by plenty of dining options. The rooms were a bit chilly thanks to the efficient air con system, which was a blessing during the scorching weather. Yet, I found the cleanliness lacking a bit. The service was top-notch, with the team going out of their way to make our stay special, including helpful parking assistance. The hotel's setting was perfect, close to all the attractions but away from the noise. The dining experience was delectable, offering a variety of continental delights. Although there was a slight inconvenience regarding the noise issue, I would definitely recommend this place for the incredible location and superb service.

The hotel's location is superb, near lots of restaurants, Castle of Santa Bárbara, and the port of Alicante. The rooms, though not ideal for resting due to being small with only one bed, are clean and suitable for a sleep-only stay. The service is kind and helpful, even though a bit slow-moving at reception. The dining offers a good selection, especially with fresh juice and continental style options. The facility has no major comments, offering what you'd expect from an NH hotel.
